26.5 flare gun

There are enough of them around. HK 26.5mm's, combloc 26.5mm. Get a 12g conversion kit so that you can use the marine shells. The price for 26.5mm has gone beyond sense. I bought 500 rounds for less than $1.00 ea and now they are $5/6.00 ea. But the various types sure light up when they are fired.

For the love of god man, tell me where you found legit 26.5mm flares!?!? I've got a Finnish issued vkt from the '70's that demands to be fed! Can't seem to find them anywhere...

I will have a couple of conversion sleeves available in a couple of weeks that will chamber the "Truflare" 15 mm centre fire bear bangers, and shorter red, green, and white 15 mm centerfire truflares. I have a couple of prototypes made up and have yet to have a failure or misfire.
There are two sleeve adapters, one for the long 15mm tru flare, one for the short.

I have found one source for the 26.5 mm flares in Canada and they sell them for about $30.00 each not including hazmat shipping charges.

Interesting....price?

About $40.00 (depending on my price and not including shipping) for two sleeves, one for bangers and a shorter chamber one for flares. Centerfire Truflares ( long bangers, whistlers, and the shorter flares) are those designed for the "pen gun flares".

The machine shop has the order and delivery will be a couple of weeks.

I used to carry one of those "pen gun flare devices" when I was working on the water. $30.00 a round for 26.5mm is more than the combloc guns were sold for. The conversion kit might make more sense. But, the 26.5mm really lights up when fired. I shot a white shell at an old log on the beach to see how far it would go. We had to go and put the fire out because it started the big log on fire!

You have to be careful with the 15mm truflares as well. My 5 year old grand son was shooting them over water this spring and he shot one into the water. It burned for at least 8 seconds under the water. I have also had a long burning flare start a grass fire.

The delivery on the adapters is about 2 weeks. if anyone is interested. They make the 26.5 flare guns fun and interesting.

did this ever come about ? intersted; also interested in where to buy the flare gun itself.

Marstar has 25mm flare guns that take the 25 mm orion flare.
A couple came in the mail a few days ago.
I have a couple of ideas for a truflare adapter for these.
