There's a company in Alberta that sells them, they're around $30.00ea plus tax & shipping.
I still have a metric assload of 25mm white parachute marine flares but demand was low. One idiot couldn't read my ad and left me a negative feedback because the flares wouldn't fit his particular gun.
The 25mm flares are dimensionally identical to the 26.5mm flares in diameter but the rim is apparently slightly different. If you grind the ejector/extractor slightly it allows the use of both. I don't have one of these guns but have personally witnessed it done.

best bet get a 12ga flare adapter they shoot the plastic flares you can get at Canadian tire
Yeah, I saw the adaptors that make it possible to shoot the 12 gauge flares . But the adaptors have a bottle end to prevent you from shoot real 12 gauge shell. Do you know if the 12 gauge flare like( comet ) can be shoot in this adapteur or only the orion flare ( canadian tire)?

just the orion flare as the chamber is short and the bore is tight one of my 2" 12ga loads would fit but I dare not try that
so you have shot the orion flares thru your 12 gage adapter ?

You can get a insert that allows firing of .22 cal in the HK. I shot 12 ga in the HK successfully with the insert.

What to shoot 12 ga flares in a flare gun, I don't think so.

I think he means shooting .22LR out of a flare gun. You now have an unregistered handgun, presumably with a prohibited barrel length too. The 12ga adapters are usually sized so they will only discharge flares and as such are typically exempt.

I knew what you probably meant, all I was saying such a insert exists. I wasn't commenting on its legality. In the US it is legal to use, in Canada its not.
If you have 2 3/4" 12 gauge flares and bangers (like the ones from Margo) to fire them out of a 26.5mm flare gun, you would have to ream the adapter. I can't see how this is illegal as long as you only fire flare or banger shells through it. You would have to be careful to insure that the adapter is not used to fire live 12 gauge shells but otherwise I can't see it being illegal if only legal shells are fired through it.
