26.5mm European surplus flare gun and flares WANTED

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post and I just signed up tonight. If this is addressed elswhere, please direct me.

I am in Ontario, Canada and I am looking for a good quality flare gun. I am a small aircraft pilot flying up North often and would like to keep this in my bag with flares for emergencies.

I have seen a bunch of Polish and Yugoslavian available in the US but not here and they won't ship here. I have also seen Czech surpus 26.5mm flares in many colours including parachute, but again all in the US and no shipping to Canada.

Where can I find something here in Ontario and those flares?

I just found Marstar, but they are out. Not sure if they will get more?

Hello Grizz,

Thank so much for taking the time to reply. I have sen those Orinon guns at Canadian Tire. They aren't very good and very cheap. I wanted something way more durable. I've seen some pics of them blowing up in people's hands... last thing someone would need if they were in distress.

I've decided I really want a metal durable one.

Yup, the flares aren't cheap but these never expire, I can buy a few boxes, toss them in and never think about them again. That's the kind of product I am after.

I was thinking surplus stores around Toronto?
Or a local gun shop may be able to direct me somewhere? Or you wonderful people on here!!!
