Why not buy a 3.5.... they are only a couple of bucks more and with a 26" "barrel it's almost the same sight plane as a 3" with a 28" barrel and handles just as well.
Plus the fact that the longer forcing cone in the 3.5 inch chamber makes for less recoil shooting 3" shells!
Bonus is if you need to shoot 3 1/2 for anything your capable.
