Well here she is finally back from the barrel pimp. The rifle was originally built by Sean with a Shilen match 1-8,and a precision lug. Then it traded hands a couple of times and the I got my mitts on it. I added the my own custom made oversize bolt handle, HS Precision stock with an aluminum bedding block, and the Nightforce 3.5x15 in a set of TPS rings, and a Farrel 20MOA base. I then sent it up to Sean for a barrel trim, Badger muzzle brake, and CDI bottom metal, and cal ID on the barrel.
Here are the results for the first time out, 130 Berger VLD Match, 44gr H4350, CCI BR2, Lapua brass. Best so far was .395 @ 2858, then it got to busy at the range so we will see if it can do better the next time out. I must say that I am more than pleased with the way it turned out and the way it shoots. Thanks so much Sean, It will not be my last from you. Regards.

Very nice. Sean is rebarrelling an SPS for me in 260 AI. I've been waiting almost 5 months for that barrel to arrive. Can't wait to get my hands on the finnished product!

as the Pimp said in my testing I like the 123 over the 139 mine is a laser built by his loving hands!

Nice rifle... I hope you are as happy with it as I am with mine!

Sean built me a 260 Rem on a 700 action. Sean does good work!

I hope I am not and I don't mean to highjack your thread, but based on what Jamie and Sean said:

I tried a ladder test today at 300y with 123 Scenar's and Varget for the first time. I can't post pics (haven't tried yet on CGN) but I was pretty impressed. I started at 38 and went up to the Sierra manual max at 40.4. No signs of pressure in Lapua once fired cases. I seem to have a nice node between 38.9 and 40.1 and also one at 38.0 to 38.3. I was about 20 thou jump. OAL 2.8140 Ojive 2.1700.

38.0 2822
38.3 2847
38.6 2936
38.9 2925
39.2 2929
39.5 2939
39.8 2947
40.1 2953
40.4 2978

I had made up 5 123's at 39.0 Varget just to try and had a 1.15" group at 300.

I also have a decent load with 140 AMAX and 43.2gr H4350. I had a 9 shot string with ES of 25, SD 9, AVG 2760. Only had 9 loaded. Good groups too.

Usual disclaimer: these are safe loads for my rifle but start low and work up. Your rifle may be different!!!!
