.260 Remington Load

Hi Everyone,

Can any share some tips or load for the .260 Remington. I just purchased a Sako Finnlight in .260 and just looking for some info to get started I will must likely be using from 100 to 120 grain bullets. If any one else is interested Ellwood Epps has the Sako Finnlights in .260 reduced to 1049.00

What powder would you recomend to get started I was thinking H4350 but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

4350 is a good starting point with 100-120 grain loads. I use Varget mainly for 107 grain and lighter loads. 4350 or 4831 for anything 120 grain and up

I have not tried any loads for a 100 to 120 grain, but if you ever try a 139 or 140 grain bullet for your 260 H4831sc is outstanding.

if I didnt already have a custom 260, Id probably scoop that Sako 260 deal from Ellwood. THats a great price

260 Remington is my favorite cartridge, bar NONE!
