264 win mag and 142 grn lrab’s

Hi all, I’m looking for info from anyone that’s running a 264 and lrab’s, just wondering what twist rate you’ve found the most successful to stabilize the 142’s. thinking I’ll need to be 1:8, but just wanting to confirm

I thought 1:8.5 was best for the 140gr 6.5cals. What about a gain twist?

An 8 twist will work fine, most 6.5cals will run an 8t barrel
