I everybody.
I just start playing around with my new toy, a rem 700 in 264 win mag. (HB)
Do you have any suggestion on your favorite load !?

The twist of my barrel is 1 in 9 and actually I think about using 130 and 140 grainer. The purpose is target only, I will maybe use it on some game someday but for now I just whant to do impressive group.

Please let me know what perform well in your rifle and save me the Hard work of trying a billion of different load before I catch something who work well.

Thanks in advance.

"...save me the hard work of..." You'll have to work up a load for your rifle anyway. No two rifles will shoot the same ammo the same way.

I know but If I have some point of starting, figuring we have the same twist rate it should be similar.
This being said I know I will have a lot of trial and fun. :)

123scenars,57gr IMR 4350, Rem. brass , fed. 215m primers, seated .010 off .
Remington sendero out of box no smithing, 5 shots 1/2".
900 rds. down range and there is some erosion but it will still group the same.

Thanks Dude, thats what I'm talking about ! Thats exactly the kind of answer I 'm looking for.

Hotguns,
I have been shooting that exact same package for over a year now and still achieving great accuracy so dont listen to know it alls like obtunded who obviously still thinks barrels are like they were in the 60's. Metalurgy has come a long way and like any gun, if you dont heat it up and run too hot of loads through it you will get a long life. Im over a thousand rounds and just shot one of my best groups the other day. Anyway, Hornady A-max 140 gr with 63 grains of retumbo and wlrm primers are my target load and have good results out to 1000yds. Same load behind 140gr nosler partitions for hunting. Have fun and pm me for any questions.

I would not diss Obtunded about this as he does know more about barrels than most people on this forum. Having talked to other people about the barrel life of this caliber I consider myself lucky that the gun still groups well at this round count.
I am seating the bullets about .080 further out than when new and expect in about 200 more rounds to either look for a new barrel or sell the stock and action, ain't made up my mind yet.
