Hey guys,
I've worked up a load to 27.5gn of CFE 223 under a 55gn LC FMJBT seated to 2.255. According to the data I can find, this should be a safe load. However, I either going crazy, or my primers look a little flat. I'm using CCI #400 in mixed headstamps. Rounds are being fired out of a 20" Colt Comp HBAR. Am I nuts? Or could this load possibly be producing too much pressure. I'll grab some pics of the primers ASAP.
Also, I've resized some of the brass that was used. It doesn't appear to be over stretched and a new primer seats snug. I'd rather be OCD with this load than lose part of my face. Any comments are appreciated.
