So, recently I've been playing with a .270wsm with 130gr Nolser Ballistic Tips. I read on here all the time about ballistic tips inflicting too much meat damage at fairly high speeds.
So what's the point in making the BT in .277 in the first place? There are no SAAMI cartridges that would take advantage of a BT in .277 that I see. Nosler calls it a hunting bullet, but I'm not sold on it...
