270 case stuck in RCBS sizing die

Only the 2nd time this has happened in 40 some years.
How can I get it out short of buying a $25.00 case puller ?

You can try gently heating the die, the differental expansion should cause the case to come loose.

Make a shell extractor goto www.surplusrifle.com/shooting/shellextractor/index.asp or place in freezer for a while, then tap the side of the die with a plastic screwdriver handle, it might work because the two metals steel and brass expand and contract at different rates.

I tried cold,,,nothing.
I was not fussy on heating up the die so I decided to drill it out.
After about 45 minutes of increasing drill sizes,I got it out.
I will be making one up as per the instructions sent me.
