yes it lokks pretty much the same but it has the original butt plate also it has a few scratches on it aswell.. thats a fine looking collection of rifles there..

Carl Gustav and HVA fusioned in 1971, forming FFV. This was for the firearms division.
Yes, they made sewing machines, and they also made the "Viking" brand of sewing machines....
Electrolux bought a part of the company, vacuum cleaners and gardening divisions. The mini-motors / gardening division swallowed many other companies such as Poulan, Jonsered and ex-Canadian owned Pionner wich have been fusioned into Partner. In 2006, Electrolux re-created a specific Husqvarna division to handle all those "gardening" brands, also including Gardena, Yard-Pro and Weed-Eater. Electrolux itself now concentrates on "appliance" stuff.
As for HVA firearms production, the Carl Gustav name was used for RIFLES, fior wich the Swedish production continued until the very end of the 1970's, then made under contract in Belgium and Italy, ending up at Antonio Zoli (still produced).
Husqvarna brand name was kept for the high end shotguns and production lasted until 1989.
Ther is a video (Swedish TV documentary) named "Adventskalender- Husqvarna Vapenfabrik 1989" wich interviews the last "arm fitters" at HVA just before the closing.
