I'm waiting for Salty to show proof of his pre-tanned squirril hides after his ace shooting.

I'm thinking he likely missed, and is only alive due to his swift running skills and screaming like a girl.

I also doubt Cariboo Kid could hit squirrils off hand, consistantly, as well as my experienced shooter friends.

How dare you call this thread silly! :twisted: Here we stand, almost having solved the age old dilemma - .270 vs. .30-06. Generations will revel in the intelligent, well thought out case for these cases.

Speaking of which, have we come to any conclusions yet?

270 works best with a wood stock,while the 06 won't group under 4 inches unless it has a composite stock :shock:
I know , its hard to except that, but its been proven many times over the years.
