270 Weathery Cases from 7MM RM..anyone tried it?

I've fire formed a few cases for the 270WM from 7mm RM. The neck ends up about .050" less than the 270. Would using these damage the chamber throat of the barrel? Would use the same COAL as used with the weathery case. Of course the 7mm cases where run through the 270 die first.

The shorter necks will not be harmful.

The cases will eventually lengthen on their own.No harm done ,like making .270 Win from 30-06 they are a wee bit short but shoot just fine...........Harold

I use 7mm RM to make 257 WBY , no problems, handy thing is you don't have to trim your necks
