Has anybody hunted with 110 gr. TTSX, Ive been mulling over the barnes selection for a while for my 270 and leaning to 110gr. over as a replacement for my traditional 130 gr. NBT's . Any feedback ? performance on game ?

I have no experience with Barnes 110grTTSX but have used Nosler 110gr accubond on whitetail, Mules and yote's with very good results when hit in the boiler room the deer just crumple up in a heap. devastating on yote's Very Accurate.

I used 53grs of RL-15 with the 110gr TTSX in my 270 before I sold it, I may have to buy another one someday. Saddly I sold it before I killed anything with that combo. Killed moose like a darn with 140gr failsafes. The TTSX was one of the most accurate bullets in this gun. Not so much in my other guns.

I bet the 110gr TTSX will outpenetrate any 130-150gr cup and core bullet in the .277 caliber.

I do know of one guy that killed a charging grizz with his .270 and 110gr TTSX.

I've shot two caribou and deer with the 110 ttsx out of my 270 wsm and they worked great. Shot one bou at 175 through both shoulders. Going to try them on some elk this year think they will be fime. Not like lead that for sure.

Its good that he was able to tell the story :D

My 270 is my go to Whitetail rifle.....Not that I dont' think it can kill anything .

Im pretty sure it would out penetrate the traditional cup and cores too....not that Ive retrieved any nbt's from deer but Ill be hunting in an area where there will be greater chance of close up shots and Im looking for something that will take that kind of impact with little chance of failure.

100gr out of my .257 ROY, all I can say is the deer don't like it. :) I would bet money they wouldn't like the 110gr out of a .270 either :)

I'm thinking about trying some 250gr in my .338/.300 ultra, should penetrate.
