Hello CGN reloaders. Trying to come up with a good load for 140gr Hornady Interlocks BTSP. I have IMR 4831. Rifle is a Winchester M70 featherweight (2019 vintage) . Hodgdon reloading says 54gr MAX for this weight bullet.
What do you all suggest?
Thanks

Same gun I used 55.7gr of IMR 4831 Win brass Fed or CCI large rifle primers 140gr Hornady BTSP @ 2900 fps.........OAL 3.33 in my gun rather than the 3.355 in the Hornady 3rd Edition.......MAX in that book so work up your own carefully.........be aware Hornady took it upon themselves to move the cannalure re Win 70 FWT's were short throated.

I would advise you to play with the seating depth for accuracy in your gun............it makes a world of difference.

I have had great results with H4831 with the 150 gr hornady's. 58 gr was the best load I think. I wanted to try IMR 4831 since I have it on hand but the H4831 worked well right off the hop.
