One of the reasons the 6.5 Swede is still around after over 100 years is its very high SD.That combined. with low recoil and moderate velocity and inherent accuracy makes it a very efficient combination to take anything in North America.As mentioned,balistically the same as a 270 after 100yards,although the 6.5 Swede has the edge over the 270 on SD and even regular bullets do just fine
