Hey CGNers,
After a frustrating 1.5 years, I finally found a bug-hole load that my m70 BACO made in Portugal sporter likes!!
Thought I would share my recipe with you all in hopes that I can slow the rate of balding in others trying to load for the m70.
I understand that all rifles shoot differently, but this ladder load I recently put together seemed to have a node that was rather long.
52.1 (tightest), 52.4, and 52.7gr of IMR-4350
Federal Large Rifle Primer
Hornady brass
Berger 150gr VLD Hunting
Seated to the longest length able to fit inside the drop magazine

the smallest group is 52.1, and it opened up a bit as I went higher in charge weight - the barrel was getting hotter and my trigger discipline was deteriorating.
I'd be interested to see what loads everyone else has found for the 270
all the best
