Wrong!I would go with the 7mm WSM. Better choice of bullets.
I use this caliber for deer and moose. Great choice. Mainly used the 140 grain accubond. Almost always in and out except for a moose. I used a 130 ballistic tip once at about 75 yards...the bullet exploded...tiny little bits and no exit obviously, but lets face it, I know this because the animal tipped over, but I'll never use them again. Total meat destruction.
Lots of people use BTs for hunting. A slower velocity may help reduce fragmentation.+1 ballistic tip should not be used for hunting ..accubond is a much better bullet .
