Nosler has it's max at 99 % capacity with Win brass and 69.5 gr Magpro. You could work it a little higher than that with higher capacity brass I guess and carefully go up .2 gr at a time watching for pressure signs but 5 gr higher sounds a bit iffy to me. It would take you up around 105% capacity and would depend on whether your bullet will seat properly etc. The nosler max load is supposedly getting 3237 fps from a 24" barrel. Have you tried it? Curious to know what you are getting from that load. Barnes has a max load of 70.5 (same brass), which they say is at 96% cap. and this is with the longer tsx bullet at a shorter C.O.A.L. (2.850 nosler vs. 2.740 barnes), so perhaps Nosler is a bit off. I found this to be the case with some of their data in the past.

Wow! interesting that the velocity on the max loads is only 40 fps faster. What barrel length did they have for that load?
