First of all, We dont need swm gunds. I don't have no use for them. All the stendert calibers we had before are the very best. Secounds where do you find all dose low pricess like $569 $695 and even $734.I live in Southern Ontario, all of dose guns you are talking about,You don't bay them here for any less then $1200+
I don't know where to start... what store are you getting your prices at?
How about some specific quotes of the aforementioned guns... what store how much... etc...
Your dismissal of the WSM's is based upon what facts.. or is this just a "special bus" kind of dismissal...:p
I cannot take your post seriously as written!

[quoted]Gee thanks

Some of us are working our butts off trying to get that changed.[/quote]

And having part of Ontario vote against the Liberals is very much appreciated by us westerners.;)

OK I need to come clean about my gun price remark,I'm sorry I don't know enough about Ruger, SAVAGE, and t3 TIKA. To be exact;Ijust picked up a SAVAGE M12.223 #995 Ialso bought t3 in 308 SS for #985. And I payd #1100 for 3006 Win Sporter. MO 70. I apologize for jumping the gun. I do all my deals at Goble's.

I got a model 70 270WSM because...beats me...guess i felt like buying one. It shoots fine, operates reliably, blah blah. I get excessivly flattened primers and sticky shell extraction with factory winchester ammo because it is too hot for my gun and still dosen't deliver advertised velocity. Chamber's been checked and is round and smooth and maybe a little tight, but i like them that way. So i load it down a little and it functions fine. I only get 100 fps faster than my regular .270's. I've chronied quite a few WSM's of all flavors and they are not getting the velocity claimed without most of them having hard extraction of fired brass and flattened primers. So mine is a little less than claimed, a hundred fps don't mean much to me, if it was 300 fps faster wouldn't mean much to me either. I wouldn't attempt to kill anything with a .270 WSM or 300WSM that I wouldn't also kill just as well, just as far and just as dead with the old standard 270 or 30-06. So for me the WSM has no real advantage, it's just a neat gun and something different to load for and shoot.
