Anybody out there got some ideas on which bullet weight is gonna work best with a 1-10 twist .277 barrell?
It seems that bullet weights from the main bullet manufacturer's range primarily from 130 to 150 grains. I know that the .270 caliber seems to have less bullet selection options than most other calibers.
I'm looking at buying a Sako 270WSM (twist is 1-10) and will want to hunt with it as well as maybe use in our hunter class 1000yd matches, just wondering what bullet weight with the 1-10 twist will still be stable at 1000 yards?
thanks
