.270 wsm

The 270 wsm is my favourite of the wsm group.
I have a Tikka T3 and a stainless classic M70 SA in one. Both are good shooters.
The 130 Ttsx load for the T3 hits 3280 fps with H4350. Which is a solid 150 fps above my 270 Win loads on a a good day.
The 270 wsm Winchester brass has been better for me as well, compared to the split necks I get in the 300wsm.

I agree 100% my load is 130 accubond with H4350 at 3275fps deadly accurate in my old M70

I worked up some very hot hand loads with Superformance and 150 gr sst's, mpbr in excess of 275 yds. Unfortunately traded the gun before I got to hunt with it. But I was very happy with the perfomance and had delusions of long range elk, a friend out west was an outfitter at the time. I would buy one again if powder was cheaper and I had a place to shoot things past 300 yards.

My dad uses it for everything from moose down to deer. Never had a problem with any game running off too far. Highly effective caliber you won't be disappointed.

Like just about any rifle caliber, good shot placement will take down your target quick
