Il do a test later, load the round into the chamber an close the bolt, see if the mark is there. that would determine a primer that's not seated enough, although all primers look to be pretty nicely seated. so maybe upon firing they are puffing a bit maybe.

Dogleg, theres no way id sight a rifle in around 3 inches high at 100. personally.
Maybe if it was called for long range sheep hunting or something then Yes I could see that working for me.
Imo the 3 inch above line of sight is too much for my liking
