Yep! I know what ya guna say..... Varget is too fast for the 270.... Im not listening :)

I see hodgon lists a Varget load with the 130gr TTSX- I kinda helped a mate out an purchased his 130gr TTSX off him, so il make up some rounds in prep for winter.

Anyone used this combo?

Is it true most recipes are accurate with the TTSX?

Never used Mono premiums before so why not Rid 50 on some big Sambar deers!
Cheers

To bring this thread back, Today we shot loads through a mates Abolt .270 hunter.
Federal primers and Rem brass, AR2209 and TTSX 130gr

Started with 53 and went up to 55, seated 3.250 tip to tip.
shot at 100m Swaro 4-12x40
55gr shot a 5 shot group plus 3 shots inside an inch, have not measured we were pretty set on that. some fine tuning would potentially tighten it but theres not much need for Sam. (sams Abolt)

2209 shoots allover 2208 for the .270, something I must look into an really open the .270win Up, potentially spitting ttsx out at 3100fps give or take, more likely 3070fps or so, with primers barley showing pressure let alone over pressure..

compared to with 2208 I was reachin maybe 2900 fps or so with fair bit of pressure on the brass an primers.. maxed out so to speak.

Good times on the windy-ish range
sorry, no photos
