So I'm new to reloading, and I'm looking to load primarily for my 270wsm from my tikka t3. Trying for a nice accurate deer round. Any suggestions to help a guy out? I don't have a particular grain or anything at all planned out so I'm open to options. What are some of your favorite loads?

I have a T-3 as well, and I've been shooting 130 gr Barnes TSX bullets over a max load of RL 19 with CCI 250 primers. I've tried a few other bullets, but this one seems to give me the best accuracy in my rifle.
Obviously a TSX isn't needed to kill a deer, but I sometimes hunt elk and black bear with this rifle, so I like having a good bullet. Given the higher velocity that the WSMs are capable of, I think using a tougher bullet like the TSX, or one of the bonded bullets, isn't a bad idea. You'll probably have pretty good luck with any suitable bullet you try, T-3s don't seem to be very fussy rifles to get to shoot well.

I've heard nothing but good about the Barnes tsx, but I am a little hesitant to run them because they seem periodically hard to get, at least locally. I do t want to develop a load then struggle with getting the components.have you played with different grain weights as well or stick to the 130s?
I tried mostly 130 and 140 gr bullets. The 140 gr Nosler AccuBond was second place for accuracy out of the bullets I tried in my own rifle. I didn't bother with 150 gr bullets because of the WSM's shortish neck and the amount of powder capacity the longer bullets would take up.
I've tried many 85gr-110gr bullets out of a 270 WSM and I really think that you should try Barnes 110gr TSX and Hornady 110gr V-Max at 3500fps!
Interestingly I got incredible accuracy out of Sierra's 110gr MatchKing (this bullet was developed for 6.8 SPC).
Low recoil, huge killing power (on the right game), insane ballistics and low barrel life all in one stubby cartridge.
I wanted to use a 270 WSM as a long range varminting cartridge but it's simply way too powerful to be practical, still it was a blast to try!

Nice, I was thinking of sticking to the 100 gr hornady soft points but the 110 you say eh. What powder were you using?
My favorite powders were:
- Varget for light bullets 110gr
- H4350 for medium bullets 130-135gr
- H4831 or Retumbo for heavy bullets 150gr+
