RPAL! :dancingbanana:

It took 17 days from receipt of my application for "initial processing" and to get an application number. One of my references and I called in to the CFC on day 18, and my other reference didn't get around to it until day 24. I had my wife call in, but they said they didn't need to talk to her.

Now ... time to get some guns! :D

Congrats, what's first up? Glockin'? 1911 time? Or are you a Black Rifleman?

You have a handgun club membership yet? Have fun with the Morontario CFO! Now you have the license, that will allow some of the freedoms, that citizens of a freer country are born with. Just remember, regardless of the actual price of any gun, the minimum operating cost is between double and triple, counting accessories, ammo, memberships, etc, etc, etc.

I have rifles, that I find very satisfying to print little tiny groups from large distances, but the most fun, is by far the handguns. My Glock 21sf and Ruger Super Blackhawk, are the very most treasured pieces in my collection.

Enjoy...

Black rifles will have to wait for now ...

... mainly due to cost and storage space. I would like to build an AR-15, though.

No, my immediate purchases will be non-restricted. I want a couple of Cooey 39s for my kids (I'm already looking forward to getting them started! :D) and for myself, either a Lee Enfield or a CZ-858 (or VZ-58L).

There is a 1911 in my future, and I like the look of the M&P (maybe in 9mm).

No club membership yet (though I do have another post on this). I've got four other people to keep happy before I spend too much money on myself ... and yes, I've tried spinning the expense as being for the collective good!
