28 Days till bear in ont opens

damn this is worse then waiting for xmas. at least bear season is something i know i will get what i like/want. so hats everyone got planned for bear this year?

I'm also very excited to go bear huntin

my weapon of choice from all of my firearms (m14s and my girlfriends fiery angry wrath magnum edition) I'm bringing out the M14S.

Still havnt decided on whether or not to get the $$$ federal 165 grain or the 150 grain winchester powerpoints.

any recommendations anyone?

In many areas, bear season actually opens on August 15th. You should edit your title to "11 days till bear season". I know I'm counting them down. Going up to the farm in WMU 42 to get some repairs done on the house and see if I can't get a bear. I'm not sure on the exact date I will be up there (definitely not going to make the opening week due to work). We had talked about sharing some hunts last year. Are you still interested? I might put you to work if you show up. LOL!

I'm getting my gear ready to go...

Stands are already set up as of last week..
My 13 year old will be sitting with me this year,, so hopefully we'll see some nice bears....

I'm starting to get Really edgy,,so much stuff to get done it's not funny....

Big Mike I use a M1 garand with winchester ballistic silvertips I believe its an odd grain like 163. Have to check the box. Regardless it kills em with one well placed shot.
