28 gauge load data

Hey, I don't know why I can't find it with the search function, but I'd like a little loads data for the 28. Just got my MEC 600, some Unique, AAHS wads and 6 and 8 shot. thanks

28g Reloading Data

I use 2 powders, both @ 14 grains

-- longshot
-- unique

Win 209 primers
Win AA -HS wads

Unique is around 11,300 psi which is still good for sub-gauge tubes
Longshot is around 10,000 psi which is also good for those tubes.

Unique is supposed to be 1200 fps and Longshot @ 1225 fps. I get the same results using either one. I also use #9 shot.

Win AA-HS or equivalent
Unique 13.1 grains.

Thanks guys, that's what I'm after...I was just looking for conformation of the info that I had found. Makes a guy feel better when someone else is actually using it. I loaded my first shells last night and too used the 'actual" info from the Alliant site, 13.1g. Too bad my loader won't drop it...guess I need anther bushing, #19 looks like it might work better. Has anyone tried that 20/28 powder yet? Thank you.

Speeds

So my first loads of 13.1g of Unique are giving me 1150 fps. My factory loads are 1200. Has anyone tried Lil' Gun in their 28 yet?

So my first loads of 31.1g of Unique are giving me 1150 fps. My factory loads are 1200.

I'm trusting that is an error in the powder charge and what you meant was 13.1 grains of Unique.

I'm using a #19 MEC bushing that was polished slightly so that it drops 13.1 grains.
