28 gauge???

shells are harder to get,but I have been assured that some of the dealers are bringing some in. There are some guys at Tofield sporting clays useing 28 so I may contact them. Calgary skeet club (not sure name) has some shooters too. Most guys reload.

There are lots of 28 gauge hunting and target loads available from Kent, Remington and Winchester. Just none for waterfowl.

The 28 is excellent for hungarians, ruffed grouse and farmed pheasant. It is a lot of fun on a sporting clays course as well. I wouldn't go without one.

My favourite gauge.Have used it for most everything at one time or another.Shells are a bit harder to find in some areas. There are factory loads available from the 2 1/2 inch 5/8 load to the one ounce 2 3/4 inch. The most common are the 2 3/4 inch 3/4 ounce hunting and target loads.
