Anyone have any loads they use for 160 Grn Nosler bullets with IMR4350????

I would think that a slower powder would work better. Lots of RL-22 and recently IMR-7828 in mine. Try the Nosler reloading forums, there are a lot of 280AI shooters on there.

I load mine with 7828ssc and 168gr Berbers , I shoot mine at 2920fps . One word of caution when you get to the top end of loads this powder comes up to psi fast, I found this in mine gun anyway.

Mine gets loaded with 54 grains of imr 4350 and I looked in my old manual and max for a pump or semi is 50 grains of imr 4350

right on hodgdon's website, IMR 4350 160gr nosler AB starting load of 50.5gr and a max of 53.7gr

Why so much differnce as Nosler gives 55.5 and Max for imr4350???? Should I go that far or???

I think with the redesign of hodgdons site the lawyers got to mess with some numbers again.

You should go as far as your rifle and brass tell you. Watch for pressure signs and decide how far is safe for your rifle.

I forget what load I ended up with but I'm using IMR 7828SSC now. H4381SC seem to also do well for me. I'm shooting Barnes TTSX 150 gr. I've got IMR 4350; shoot it in my 30-06 but reports pointed to the 7828 and 4831 being superior for this caliber. I might try the 4350 for kicks and see what it produces.
