Well considering he got banned for illegal acts, and then asking 2888$ for a 1000$ gun I say he was a scammer. He didnt have a Burris Fast Fire. He has this retails for 90$. A fancy fiber optic sight.

So discussing illegal importation means a person is a scammer? Are you sure you know what the word scam means? He wasn't dishonest, just outrageous with his own assessment of his gear's value. The TAS sights are real, available from Zahal and his price is not out of line.

The vast majority of EE ads are grossly over priced. Only a fool and his money are soon parted, which is a fair deal as both parties agreed on the sale.

Doesn't make the person trust worthy. I never denied that the sight wasn't real. But does not make the gun 1888 $ over what its worth. I know I had a Glock 34 and I know what they are worth.

Ive been on this site since before 2004 Nooooo I don't know what a scam is. It also means to Swindle or trick. He was tricking Chinese that this gun was lucky and charging more then it was worth based on a serial number. To me and to some that is a scam.

Just before I put my house on the market this past summer in Oakville, my real estate agent and I put the word out to some Chinese real estate agents in Toronto that my house was soon going to be available for sale. The day it hit the market I sold it for $50,000 over asking to a Chinese couple within hours. The address had three 8's. Was told after I signed I could have held out for more as other buyers of Chinese origin were extremely interested but I got what I asked for and then some so I can't complain. At the end of the day, things are worth what someone is willing to pay. If there is a superstitious bend, who cares. It is a free market.

The reason why he's gone is because a lot of guys probably clicked on the black triangle and reported him.

If you read his thread ; the guy is gone because two mods told him to stop posting about illegal acts in regards to firearms , but he persisted anyway.....I think the guy must have been in a bad mood on New Years day ; maybe even hung over a little . If others are reporting people on here as you suggest , then it is kind of sad , and shows just how divided the firearms community is.....certainly easy pickings for the govt. if they decide to start pushing back door gun control . As the old saying goes ; " United We Stand , Divided We Fall " ....and there are certainly lots of anti-gun folks on here pushing their anti-gun agenda....

Hi all

First off, I do not mean any ill-will or ill-intent about questioning someone else's asking price for property.

This is for my own information only, as I do not own a Glock.

I am trying to figure out why this person has a Glock 34 Gen 3 in the Exchange priced at 2888$, what makes this glock 34 more expensive than the others combined in the exchange.

I am just trying to find out about this particular Glock.

Regards

First you say as you do not own a Glock, and now you are telling everybody you do own a Glock 34?!.
You are calling a CGN member names here as a " scammer" and now you are telling everybody you don't exactly know what that means?!!!. wow, you are making false statements and false accusation on a member here, and that is going to make you trust worthy ?. The guy is asking for $2888 for his Glock, he can asked all he wants, no one has to buy it right?, does his asking price violated The terms of use?....or you are not sure.

I'm glad to see it wasn't the Glock ad that did him in...

Outrageous price? YES
Would I step up to buy? NOT A CHANCE
Could he get his asking price? QUITE POSSIBLY
Has he scammed anyone? NO
Will the potential buyer cherish their "lucky" Glock? PROBABLY

If the market bears the asking price, and perceived value is received in return.
I say good business!

It would have been "bumped" for years, just like that one that was for the HKs, by the Samson guy, but that was an actual scam. I heard when people left their information on his VM, they got on a calling list. Laugh2

You can ASK anything you want, just doesn't mean it'll sell quickly
