28ga Semi

so I have thre semi auto 28's...

My latest are Akkar semi auto's in youth and trap models.

The youth model was an immediate attraction for the simple fact it was short barreled and looked like it would be a bunny"s nightmare (it is!)

No problem shooting skeet at 50 yrds, even with shortlittle girl. The stock isnt too short for me to use in a somewhat effective manner, and I'm a big guy. My wife shoots it and likes that there is little recoil. I cant say enough about the 28 ga. I believe it may be the ultimate in upland cartridges...

I'll take a 16 and 28, over 12 and 20 any day,,,

Nice report.I have never seen a 28 gauge Akkar shotgun in person ,but I have read some good things about them.I like the shot barrels on 28 gauge upland guns as well.

nice looking gun.. 28 gauge is my favourite. I haven't used a 12 gauge in the uplands since I got a 28 a few years back. I prefer double barrels though...

Put that Akkar next to a Weatherby and cover the names up, and you won't be able to tell the difference - except for the price tag!!
