was going to buy a Mossberg 28,but, the are made on the same frame as the 12. Hardly seem to be a point. The Yildiz do not come in 28. The CZ sXs look good but a bit more$$. Have not handled one. Any thing I am overlooking?? thanks AJ

A 28 gauge also has enough punch to knock down ducks and pheasants at closer ranges. Make great guns for grouse hunting in the hills because of the light weight.
I went from a single trigger to a double on my CZ without a problem. I thought it was going to be a hassle, but not. Give it a try. DTs are the way to go.Sharptail I have previously viewed this review. 1st rate. the bobwhite has double triggers, I have a prob. with DT when shooting skeet.
It's no fine english SxS, but it does work and fit very well and I don't mind beating the bush with it.
thanks Supercub, was shooting ducks yesterday with a sXs with DT, pulled same trigger over again. It's the same as using a pump after u have an auto or hinge it takes a while. The CZ has a loyal following and I'll have to look closer. AJ
Components are easy to come by if you're handloading, Will Bilozir atThe thing I have a problem with 28 ga., is very hard to find ammo for. It's easier to find 16ga. than 28.
