2k what .22 and scope???

I'd buy a 10/22, new barrel, new stock, some new guts and a higher end red dot.

If you had 2k to spend on a rifle you'd buy a pimped out 10/22 ??

You need to get out more. I'd go for a Sako Quad with a leupold scope.

I went with a Ruger 77/17 ss lam varmint with a vxIII 4.5x14, pretty much took care of the 2k

Ha ha. If I had 2K to spend, it wouldn't be on a 22. But yeah, I'd spend it on a 10/22, customized to my specs. The sako quad? Please!

Yeah no sako quad. I love sako's but i don't need 4 different of rimfires. I'll have to look at the coopers more but right now I'm starting to think a competition style rifle like the annie 1907 and great peep sights is the way I'll be going. If only I could get the 1907 in a 1903 stock.

The other option that would really work for me is one of the annie silloute modles like the 54.18 with sights fitted if that's even possible.

Those pretty rifles certianly are tempting though!!!!

Forgot to add... if you don't mind a little project, you can always get a CZ/BRNO rifle and slap on a nice target stock from BRNOMAN @ Rimfirecentral

Rifle + stock + Nice scope of your choice should fit within the 2K budget!

Another vote for the Cooper, although it probably wouldn't leave to too terribly much for a good scope
