Finding a good Bess
It's not likely you'll get a great lead here as most of us would snap up a good one and keep it. There are a lot of rebuilts, bitser, and repros on the market for sale. Do some research so you'll know what your buying and start looking. The more you know the better. Start looking local, with an ad in the paper or online, ask everybody you see, watch the auctions, check out local antique dealers, and go to militaria shows. You never now where one might be sitting.

Theres a decent looking officers reduced cal musket in the ee "or was" for around 500$$ damn good price for a unit you can really personalize if your a mind to.
