2T series inglis hi-power extraction

Hi All,

I have a 2T series inglis Hi-Power and it will not extract and eject every third or fourth case, sometimes not at all. I have four mags and it happens with all of them. I have a feeling that it may be the internal extractor that may be possibly worn out? If so, where can I get a replacement.

You could try Marstar. I know they had parts for the older BHP's at one point. Failing that a want ad on the EE?

edit Just checked...They list them (59.00) but they show as "sold out" and when stuff is sold out at Marstar it often stays that way for years.

Maybe try Brownell's? I've gotten roll pins,recoil springs etc etc from them.

Parts for these guns often show up at gunshows too. There is a guy at the big Calgary show that always has drawers full of Inglis parts.

Try removing and cleaning the extractor hole and extractor.
50 years of lint and powder residue can't help.
