I have my selection of handguns narrowed down to 3.My first pistol. All 9x19mm.

Beretta 92 inox
Glock 17
HK P30L

What do you guys think. I want the most accurate and reliable.I also want the best fit to my hand. I am 6 feet but super skinny.

Whichever feels best and shoots best for you. Have you held all three? What size hands would you say you have?

I'd go with the P30L then the G17 and 92 would be tied, but thats just me.

Have you looked at the SIG P226's?

At some point I agree with handle them before buy but a short moment of handling can't really tell the different. In Canada also no way to shoot before buy even you bollow your range buddy's gun anf try out may be one of two box of ammo but again won't really tell how the gun shoot for you, buy what ever you like in your list the best and learn to shoot it well becasue they are all good. Both Beretta and Glock 17 are proven to be reliable and Beretta are very accurate gun with smooth action. Can't tell about the HK as I haven't try it yet but they are different price tag.

I've owned a Glock, but not in 9mm. I own a few Berettas, my vote goes to the Beretta, but the Glock is a very nice gun aswell.

Had plenty of Beretta 92 series. Shot the 9mm/.40 cal Glocks lots. Don't care for HK stuff.

Get the one that fits you best.

My preference on a 9mm would be for the BHP MkIII first choice, CZ 75/85 second choice. Glock 3rd choice. Beretta would be a ways down the list.

Tough choice....I would just buy them all, start with the glock, then the Hk and end with the Beretta. One at a time...:D

Of those 3 I'd say Glock (if it fits you), because the parts and accesories are easier to get than parts and accesories for the HK, the Beretta is a decent pistol but nothing special. Personally I think there are better pistols than all of these.

you cant have a p30l a glock and a beretta in the same list... because then your choice comes down to one question . . metal or plastic,

if you take out the beretta, between the glock and the p30l . , the p30l will prolly fit your hand or anyones hand for that matter better than the glock. its got different grips with it, its a da/sa gun unless your getting the LEM that isnt out yet.

then theres the glock .consistant shooting, (everytime you squeeze the trigger its the same.) unlike the p30l.

the glock is a $hitkicker, work horse that is tougher than anything really out there. the design is so simple my 4 yr old nephew can fieldstrip it, clean it, change trigger bar, and replace the striker before bert and ernie sing him a song.

go with the glock. shoot it, then go buy the p30l because your going to wonder what its like to not shoot a toy gun. and then when you feel its time to step up to the metal guns look at the beretta, but check out the sig first. ;)

have a good day..

What pistols do you think are better Ian in 9mm.

STI Spartan 9mm is better. And only 200$ more. I started with a G17 and after I get a rifle, I'm grabbing the STI Spartan. I'll keep my Glock though, every collection needs a Glock.

Better pistols in 9MM you say?
IMO.
SIG Sauer P226 or P228.
Glock 19 > G17 anyday.
Springfield XD9
USP9/P30L

Hell I'd take a BHP over a 92FS or a G17.
