Would a Vortex magnifier work well with an Eotech or would you recommend staying to an eotech magnifier?

I initially had a VMX-3T, then sold it in favor of the G33. The VMX-3T has a bit of "fisheye", but my bigger issue was that they rattle just ever so slightly, and I found the mechanism of depressing the button to release it to flip awkward. Smelly Pete is one of my training partners, and his is an older Vortex magnifier. They didn't have the springloaded buttons, but the newer ones do.

The G33 cost twice as much, but I've beat the heck out of mine for the past 4 years of competitions, and it is still solid as the Rock of Gibraltar. No buttons to mess with, just slap it up or down to deploy. Buy once, cry once...

You're totally correct, I forgot they changed to the button release. Kinda dumb, IMO. I've never had a problem with mine flipping at random. Never used it for 3gun though, might have a problem when chucking it in barrels?

Are you near me, Guilty Spark? More than welcome to try it out.

Strike Eagle. I'm not a huge fan of the reticle. I'd prefer more of an RDS style with faint BDC hashes or dots. Not sure if that exists...
