Our first 3 gun match of the year will be on July 27th, at the Peace Country Fish and Game Association range, northwest of Peace River, AB.

Match will start at 10am sharp. All participants must be registered by 9:30am.

Shooters will require:
- eye and ear protection
- centerfire pistol and a holster secure enough to retain the pistol during movement (no brakes/comps/red dot sights)
- centerfire rifle of at least .223/7.62x39 power. If enough full-bore (ie .308/.30-06/8mm) shooters are in attendance, a separate Heavy class will be included.
- shotgun of at least 20 ga.
- gear to carry spare ammo/magazines
- slings for longs guns will not be necessary

Shooters may use bolt guns or revolvers but you will be at considerable disadvantage to those using semi-auto pistols and rifles. Likewise, break open single or double shotguns are allowed, but not really suitable. Be prepared to carry at least 30 rounds of pistol/rifle ammo and 20 shotgun shells on the appropriate stages.

The round count should not exceed 75 pistol/100 rifle/50 birdshot/5 slug.

Match fee is $30 and will include BBQ lunch.

Loaner guns and gear can be arranged with enough prior notice.

Match will go rain or shine so be prepared.

Hey Stevo, not sure if you have your stages designed yet or not but I would be happy to bring the evil star if you were interested in using it for a stage.

I don't think we'll need that one, Oz. We may impose on you guys for some poppers, though.

You guys have all the fun out there. Every time I turn around there is something cool going down out there.

So, does that mean we'll see you on the 27th? :)

Dang!! Another PCFGA event I have to miss because of work!

That sucks.

I could paint some IDPA targets green.....

that would actually be an interesting course of fire, painted green to denote zombies and "headshots only" required.... have a mixture of normal, green and no shoots and it could be very interesting as far as the shooter properly identifying the targets and getting the required shots on each different target. 2 shots per target.
