3 gun belt/vest?

I run a belt with a holster, 2 Rifle mag holders, 2 pistol and 20 shotgun shells. (2 load 2x6 and a double 4). It is all I have ever needed. Now with Beowolf it is a no brainer.

The Safariland ELS belts are really nice for 3-gun! You can take things on and off as needed.

Where you put stuff depends on how you reload your shotty (weak hand/strong hand or new 2+ way), stage set up could make a difference. I prefer to change things as little as possible, whether I'm shooting IPSC, 3-gun or CQB my pistol mags will always be in the same place. The more you change things, the more likely you'll be fishing around trying to find things unless you've got an awesome memory.

I'm really liking my new bladetech AR double mag pouches on my belt. I let a new rookie hanging out at the range use my belt set up and he didn't like it because his Norton was in the way. Someone who has little belt real estate may also have to use a plate holder to get everything on. I like my belt set up and can go prone with reasonable comfort-surprisingly. I use the 10 round Alberta tactical mags. I've also got 4x4 caddies (2) and they match height good with AR pouches for prone.

I see a lot of Americans using belts on videos I've seen. Most of the people I see in the 2 clubs I shoot at use a vest. I went with a belt set-up because it seems to hot to wear a vest all the time.

There are so many ways to carry stuff and new ways to reload shotty's that it's good to go to your local 3-gun range and ask to try stuff. I started off with a Fannie pack for mags and bandolire until I found what I'd think I'd like to use. I'm happy with what I've chosen and I may change preferences in the future but practicing with what you have is #1!!
