On a slightly related note, what distance would you typically zero your rifles at for general 3 gun use or do you tailor it to the cof?

Thank you gents. Zeroed at 200, it should be within a couple of inches out to 200 and need about a foot of elevation holds per 100yds out to 500 with typical bulk .223Rem ammo that's on the market?

Rough drops (moa):
100m : zero
200m : -1.5 to 2
300m : -5.5 to 6
400m : -8
500m : -12 to 15

I think you mean moa, not inches

Moa or inches - it's a rough drop to get the guy on (hopefully) paper. Notice I didn't indicate barrel length either?

Thanks guys. I did mine quick and dirty, factoring an 18.5" barrel. Obviously, I'll have to do some experimenting with the ammo that I got and a chrony, not to mention if I start working up my own loads for competition use.

I run a 50/200 zero ( 16" barrel 62 gr bullets)
