3-gun in sw ontario?

East Elgin is having a 2 gun match end of June....and a 3 gun match in early July.

ODPL also runs 2-3 gun matches at various clubs in Hamilton, K&W, Guelph, etc.

If you "really" want 3-gun experience... You need to get yerself an F6NIA and go south.

'Just got home from another 3-gun match... This one in Pa.

It was a three man team event... Seven stages.. and a whole lot of shootin' fun.

Unfortunately we just don't have the balls or facilities to pull off truely awsome 3-gun competitions 'round here.
We do the best we can with what we have, but... It's unfettered, unadulterated, unbulls**tted fun in the US.

It's also a very quickly growing sport. http://www.3gunnation.com/

'Will be in Ky in a couple of weeks for another major match... Blue Ridge 3 Gun. It's shot in natural terrain... 'Something we can never do here.

im not sure...the one were you have a rifle, pistol, and shotgun...:D

Like I said... IPSC or..?

AFAIK ipsc does 3 gun but just one gun at a time/stage.

Others feature the use of 1, 2 or all 3 types of guns within a stage...
Some use uspsa rules while others run under their own match specific rules...

My fav. Is where the shooter has a choice as to which gun to use... Ie. Clearing a dark house using a carbine "or" a pistol...

Correct...IPSC is just 1 gun per stage.

USPSA has "Multi Gun" matches...where you will your Pistol/shotgun & rifle in various combinations on the same stage (transitioning from one gun to the next)

AFAIK ipsc does 3 gun but just one gun at a time/stage.

Holster qualify course

TDSA at Silverdale. Check out the link.

http://www.tdsacanada.com/

This sounds like a good course for one to take,
though is their holster qualifying course recognized by ipsc, or idpa or other disciplines ?
or just their own wording for being taught how to use gun with holster ?

Nothing wrong with this course, I'm sure it's great.

I just want to clarify, as someone may take this assuming they can shoot an ipsc, idpa, etc.. match and actually not be permitted to.

If someone can clarify this.

Also, who are the instructors and what are their qualifications ?
