Just starting 3 gun this season. Got talked into it by some friends.
I am just getting my rig set up now so I get use to it.

My question is what m4 mag pouches is everyone using?
Or what is really out there? I got everything else.

Thanks

First, what kind of belt are you using? That's going to narrow it down somewhat.
Second, do you prefer kydex or nylon pouches?

canadian made, stackable so you can have double mag or rifle/pistol, some of the nicest canadian made products i have seen and the owner shoots the sport as well as supporting it at the prize table level.

seriously, he can do anything.

What I have right now is Double Alpha belt, Black scorpion pistol pouches and Invictus Practical 2.8 shot gun caddie.
I have a Blade Tech holster but that may change.

I think I will want Kydex or something. I was looking at the Blade Tech ones but am not too sure. They are not local to me and I really can't tell by the picture.

Thankx.

I've got one kydex AR holder on the back of my belt and two of these California Comp shotshell holders on the front. They will hold an AR mag as well as four shotshells so I've got a fair bit of flexibility depending on the stage requirements.

Starting with two side-by-side coupled LAR mags in my rifle means I need less on my belt, too.

I'm just gearing up to try 3gun, I'm another converted IPSC shooter looking for a change but wanting to keep everything on my belt.
Adaptability seems to be the key, in IPSC your gear is very structured but in the league I'm trying the gun is somewhat rigid but the gear is not.
So what I'm trying is;
-Ghost "the one" holster.
-3 Taccom - load 2- 8 round carriers on Bladetech TMMS small mounts using Tech-Loks.
-2 Bladetech double AR pouches on TMMS small mounts using Tech-Loks.
-4 Double AA pistol pouches (2 on TMMS & 2 on the belt) and a magnet mount on the belt. These are all left overs from production but I'm hoping they will prove adaptable.
-I've also considered a holder for a box of shotgun shells (a left over from trap, but looks workable for a larger shotgun stage if need be).
This is all untested so I expect to change some of it but at this point I feel I can move what I need to where I need it quickly, plus I can take the weight off easily and quickly.
The Hammerarmament stuff looks good but even if I knew about it prior to purchasing my kit I doubt I would have purchased it.
It is more expensive than Bladetech and doesn't offer any substantial difference, in fact the mounting is Bladetech...
Bladetech double AR pouch (with TMMS & Teck-Lok) =$69.95
Hammerarmament Double AR pouch (Tech-Lok only) = $110.00

its hard to beat bladetechs pricing when they produce 10's of thousands of units.... for me its more then just dollar bills, i will try to support and encourage canadian business.

Some very good point there that I never considered. Things that make you think..

+1 for Hammer Armament!

Great products, Canadian made and they support the shooting sports. What more could you want?

Fastmags is another option. They offer excellent retention but are quite fast on the draw. Re-inserting mags is easy too due to it's rigid design. They are by design a molle system but fit regular gun belts too. They can be doubled up on each other as well.

I should edit to add that they are really only geared for AR mags. Using a Sig or anything else that isn't using Stanag mags - HSG tacos.
