Hi all,

I was wondering if there is any place in Quebec to do 3 gun matches?
I'm more or less setup for it, just need more mags.
Any help would be great.
Thanx a bunch,

going to be hard when u cant have an ipsc pistol match when you can see the sky.
bbb

Quebec has got some MAJORLY screwed-up range regulations, that have essentially eliminated outdoor IPSC matches; their CFO has decided that if you can see the sky from any position on the range, you're probably going to fire a shot at it, and if a bullet can leave the range like that, they won't approve it as a range.

Your closest would probably be the EOHC 3 gun match.

Last year they held in in the Fall.

Turn out was sparse but the FUN FUN FUN was plentiful!

I hope they are going to do it again this year!!

Cool, can you tell me more about the EOHC 3 gun match?
And where it is held?
I'm very interested in this type of sport.

EOHC had a 3 gun last year...I believe it was a first...

It was alot of work for a small group of people...

If people are expecting another one...they should call EOHC and commit to help out...in absense of that, I don't think there will be another one. The people who helped out last year were great...but it was a small group.

EOHC has published their match schedule for this year...it inlcudes several matches...including a Level 3 and a hndfull of Level 2's...but no 3 Gun.

The clubs need volunteers to help...

There was a three gun match at st.jacques last year. There was also a two gun match pistol and shotgun. I only went to the two gun match and really enjoyed the shotgun aspect and would love to go again this year if there is one. Some of the matches here are not too bad either. Out of the four I did in Qc. this year my favourite two would have been Sorel and Granby. Sorel in my opinion was definately on par with the matches I have shot in Ontario. Maybe I'll see some of you Ontario guys and gals up here this year for some of our matches.

Damn...........that would make EESA the ONLY 3 gun match in Ontario???

####...........come on people STEP UP!!

Of course it does make it more likely that I will make the QC provincials this year in that case.

Actually, I'm hoping that people will step up to support 3 gun matches at many clubs...

As you are well aware...putting on a 3 gun is about equivalent to putting on a Level 3 Pistol match...and most clubs do it with only a fraction of the help.

I'm all for supporting 3 gun...but we have work to do...

Cheers

I'd like to see another 3-gun at EOHC this year, and I'm certainly willing to help out again (and maybe even have some traps that'll work properly in the rain, this time :) ) I had fun, even though I f'ked my leg up and wasn't able to shoot the last one.

hhhheeeehhhee

I was the one shooting when the trap stage was tossed out.

I was really looking forward to completing that one! But after 6 reshoots in a row that was the right thing to do.

I certainly know what you mean Quigley......you put in TONS of effort build props like hell................all for 25 shooters!!! It just wrenches your guts out!!!

EESA has now hosted 5 3 gun matches since 1999 and we have never seen a great turn out! It is getting better and is LOADS of fun! You can count on a larger EESA turn out should you get one off the ground this year!

It's going to take a bit of time to catch on. 2 years ago I couldn't have cared less about shooting a 3 gun match. Now I'm hooked. We just have to figure out how to get a critical mass of interest to make it self sufficient...
