3 Gun Nation Club Classifier Series at EESA Sept 7th

Just wondering, do you have enough volunteers to make this a happen? 7.62's original post about the zombie match makes me wonder if there is help required! Please advise if you require some help.

Cans someone please post a direct link to the classifier stage blueprints?

I can't find anything on the 3GN website.

I would love to use my new AR (that I specifically ordered for 3 gun usage)..........but unfortunately when I opened it up on Friday, the retailer failed to include the bolt assembly...........cripes.
Will see what happens this week.......
I can always lend you my bolt assembly.

The current plan is to try and get 6 stages under our belts (you only need 4 to get a full classification)

Crash and Burn (Pistol/shotgun)
Crash and Burn (rifle/shotgun)
Down and Dirty (Shotgun/rifle)
Flying by 3 (Shotgun/rifle)
Times 12 (shotgun/rifle)
Times 223 (handgun/rifle/shotgun)

Total round count (minimum) Birdshot (38) Handgun (22) Rifle (54)

If I'm reading the stages correctly it looks like we won't be shooting any steel with our shotguns, only clays. Can you confirm this Storm? Just trying to plan what I will need as far as shot is concerned...

I just looked at the stage descriptions and did a quick round count.
Assuming 2 shots on paper vs just one center hit, I come up with a round count of:
Pistol: 34
Birdshot: 45
Rifle: 36

So.... bring 100 of each

Storm, did you say there will be a chance to shoot different divisions or is that dependent on how many people show up?

Is there a sign-up sheet or do we just show up at ESSA on Saturday morning? Based on one of your threads stormbringer and just to clarify there is no requirement to join 3GN? How long to you think the match will run for? All day or will it depend on the number of people that show, and are you runnign more than one stage at a time in different ranges?

Thanks

Thanks to Storm and his crew.

It was a blast even if we got a little wet .

They managed 5 Classifiers even though waaayyy more people showed up than expected.

Wow......what a day.

I had expected 10 or 12 competitors...........in the end we had over 20!!

I guess next match we have actual sign up etc! I will also book more ranges so things move faster. Next Sat I will set up a field course as well as 1 or 2 classifer stages. I would think that they will be different from the ones today.

I am wrestling with practiscore on the NOOK right now and it is winning..........not sure when results will be up.

I think that I can speak for the 6 of us from Shooters Choice, we had a great time. Thanks for all the effort. ALso a big thanks to all those that offered to help me up after I went prone,,,, I really need to do something about that!!! Sucks to get old, and I'm still young! :)

Appreciate the shoot! Learning experience for sure, thanks to those who lent me equipment, and storm for letting me sight in at 830am, and everyone else for tips etc. I received.

Guess that shorty shotgun has to go for something more legitimate, any suggestions?
