*******OCTOBER 15th UPDATE*******
Hello all!
Some details for the November 8th 3 Gun Nation match:
You do not need to be a member of 3GN to compete in the match, but you will need to be a member if you wish to have the classifiers submitted to them. Below is a link to their membership section so if you are not a member and wish to join, I suggest doing so before registering for the match.
3GN Membership - https://memberships.3gunnation.com/Members/Register
The match will be run under 3GN rules, so again here is a link to them so you can all familiarize yourselves with the specifics (including the different divisions).
3GN Rules - http://3gunnation.com/regionals/rules_awards
There will be a total of 7 stages (4 classifiers, so if you have not previously done any you will be able to be classified) on 2 ranges. 2 squads of 10 in the morning and 2 more in the afternoon. We should be finished up by 4pm ideally.
Registration will open officially on Monday October 20th, at 8pm. I will post a link in this thread and update the first post with the details again that day. Payment will be by EMT (email will be in the post) – please use the password eesa3gn.
I apologize as I am not as advanced as the hosers and galt in terms of a website, so entries may be simply an email with your name and division depending on whether I get my act together before the 20th or not
There will be ~50 targets each of rifle, pistol and shotgun (bird), plus 4 slugs. Note this is a target count – under 3GN rules, paper targets can be neutralized with 1 shot in the centre ring or 2 anywhere on the paper so pack your rounds accordingly.
For bird, must be between 6 and 9 shot, slugs whatever suits your fancy.
Rifle will have one stage with long range steel (out to ~300 meters) – no steel core/penetrator ammo on this stage (all competitors will have a magnet check on this stage as well). The rest of the stages will have paper targets for rifle so bring what you like for them.
No slings needed, all guns will start staged or holstered and empty guns will be dumped in barrels.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
