Thanks for Jordan/John and all the people that helped organize the match. I have a problem with the guy that ordered this weather (1mm rain? yea right weather forecast!) but still managed to finish what's left of the match but did feel bad for the afternoon squad and the guys who had 5-6 hrs drive to get back home.

Oh and thank Soon Lee for the useful VM tip!

We certainly will have to get the steel situation with the CFO sorted out. Lonedrone's original stage plan was doable. He had invested in more than a few "self resetting" steel targets and gongs that would make reset either a minimum or non existent in some cases. In the absolute scramble to put together SOME sort of a match for the shooters we neglected to consider the full reset time for the stages.
That with with the rain was a recipe for disaster.

I certainly need to get some new boots! Having wet feet was not a good combination with all that was going on.

Weather is always a crap - shoot, but don't let it scare us into staying home.

I remember this ONE time we held an outdoor match in November..
Up until the day before the match it was your typical grey, cold, damp weather...
Match day... 15 degrees and sunny!

It happened once... 'Could happen again.

Or not.

Yes. As is perfectly legal when using 10 round pistol mags.

You do know that 10 round Pistol mags are perfectly legal in Rifles that can use them, right?
The most common example being the LAR-15 5.56 Pistol magazines used in AR-15 rifles.
