3 Gun setup questions

Best answer!

Also, there are 3G stages where you reach out to 300 or more yds, depending on where you are. Makes 9mm PCCs a tough challenge.

Or 600 yards like some larger US 3 Gun matches. Also think in many 3G matches .223 is the minimum caliber. Although with the rise in popularity of PCC that’s starting to change.

Ok, here’s where I ended up.

Guns:

DPMS, Girsan 312 and Girsan Regard 16 compact

Rig:

Taccom 16 shell chest rig, Tactical tailor duty belt, pad and drop pouch, hsgi and blue force gear mag pouches, Blackhawk level 2 omnivore holster with mid-ride attachment. Cross Industries 10x10 mags just off to the sides means I can get prone no problem.

28 12ga shells (16 chest/12 waist), 3 x cross industries mags (1 in gun 2 on belt) 5 pistol mags (1 in gun 4 on belt)

Are you wearing your regular belt under the battle belt like your picture? I would recommend a Velcro inner belt. I think your current set up will ride up when you move.

Best test now is to run, jump, squat, go prone and get up to test what stays and what falls off you.
