3-Gun match Spruce Grove WRAS
The Wild Rose Action Shooters' 3-gun match is being held at the Spruce Grove Gun Club on Saturday May 22.
First shots are at 10AM when the range opens but as is our tradition we need all competitors there by 8AM to register and assist with stage setup.
As in the past we will have at least two stages EACH of IPSC pistol, Steel Challenge pistol, rifle and shotgun.
The emphasis is on safety, fun and comraderie - new shooters are absolutely welcome.

Spectators can attend SGGC without a day-use membership. if you're just watching, you're not "using" the range, you're just observing.
It's always a good idea to bring ear plugs and ear protection.
Four pistol mags may be required for the longer pistol stages. What's the calibre and model of your gun ? You can usually borrow mags from others in most cases.
Same with AR mags - bring what you have but there are lots of LAR 10 rounders available to borrow - just ask.
And lots of shotguns to borrow - just bring 12 ga ammo.
We worked on the stage plans last night - should be a great time.

As Zed said, there will be lots of people that will be willing to lend you AR mags and depending on what you have for pistol, pretty sure things can be arranged
Number 2 or 4's usually work the best, not sure if we are going to allow 00buck this yr.
The stage planning has already started, should have first drafts up by Weds
Again as Stated above, come out and try it, watch, and tell two friends and have them tell two friends. 3-Gun is fun and a good distraction for the norm.

Shotgun - 30 rnds
The stages are set and we think it will be a great time to come out and shake the cob-webs out and off of your gear.

Saturday's Match
Saturday’s match was a great success.
We had 18 shooters out, some from far and some from just down the road. Thanks to all that came and shot, I think a good time was had by all. The weather actually cooperated, not too warm, not to cold (yes it’s a bloody Goldie locks reference).
Pistol stages made you think of what the hell was going on…. plus you have to love the El Presidente…..
Rifle stages were fun, a little muddy, but that’s half the fun….
Shotgun stages were pretty basic, but just wait for the next match…..can we say El Presidente with a shotgun…. should be fun.
Check out our website for the next match’s and come out and bring a friend. If you are missing a piece of gear come anyway, someone will have what you need, just bring ammo. It happened on this match and all worked out.
